#15 Mystics too Much for Ladyjacks

DCB came out ready to play, matching the Mystics point for point. The Ladyjacks were able to grab a 10-9 lead as the set neared the midway point. It was at this point the Mystics took over going on a 10-0 to take a 19-10 lead. DCB would score a couple quick points, but the lead was too large to overcome. BSC won the set 25-13.

DCB regrouped and came out firing in set two jumping out to a quick 3-0 lead. The Ladyjacks were able to maintain a 2–3-point lead for much of the early portions of the set. The Mystics went on a 3-0 run just past the midway point of the set to give them their first lead of the set at 17-15. DCB wasn't ready to quit just yet though as they would rally back to take a 20-19 lead late in the set. BSC would get momentum back in their favor tying the game back up at 20-20 forcing a DCB timeout. Out of the Ladyjack timeout the Mystics rattled off three quick points to put them on the cusp of victory and forcing DCB to use their final timeout. The timeout didn't slow BSC's momentum as they scored the final two points completing a 6-0 run to win the set 25-20.

Just like the previous sets DCB came out ready to play with the #15 Mystics. However, this time it was the Mystics that had the early lead. As the set reached the midway point BSC was able to stretch their lead to 12-6 forcing a DCB timeout. Out of the timeout the Ladyjacks scored two quick points cutting into the deficit. As the set progressed BSC was able to regain control and pad their lead at 18-10 forcing the final DCB timeout. The Ladyjacks would be able to get the deficit back down to five at 22-17, but BSC would score three straight points to win the set and the match 25-17.

With the loss DCB falls to 4-4 overall and 3-4 in the Mon-Dak. Bismarck State improves to 18-2 overall and 6-1 in the Mon-Dak. The Ladyjacks are back in action Saturday on the road at ACC. Game time set for 2:00p.m.
