Jacks Dominate Dickinson State JV

The Lumberjack men's basketball team would hold the Dickinson State JV to just 18% shooting from the field enroute to a 95-35-win Tuesday night.

A 36-6 run to start the game would be a strong indication of how the game would go. Max Groom would lead the Jacks offense in the first half with 14 points. Luke Valencia and Shaun Armstrong would combine for seven three pointers in the half and score 12 and 9 points respectively. At the half DCB led 49-11.

The second half would see a balanced offensive attack from the Jacks as 12 of the 15 Lumberjacks scored at least one point. Brayden West-Linnett led the Jacks offense with 8 points. As a team the Jacks would shoot 50% from the field in the game and go on to win 95-35. Valencia ed all scorers and five Jacks in double-figures with 18 points on six three pointers. Groom finished with 17, Armstrong and West-Linnett added 12 and 11 off the bench, and Shandon Judd-Danne Anderson scored 10 points. Colton Zubach led Dickinson State with nine.

With the win DCB improves to 6-2 overall. The Jacks return to conference play Wednesday at Miles Community College. Game time is set for 6:30 p.m.(CST).
