Jacks Cannot Come Back After Falling Bhind Early

|Williston, ND|

The Lumberjack baseball team began their Mon-Dak Conference season this weekend by traveling to Williston to play against the Tetons.  With the Jacks' field not being ready to play on yet, they knew a four game road trip would be a tough test for their first conference matchup.

In game one, DCB watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-2 loss to Williston on Saturday. Williston scored on a single and a walk in the second inning.

Williston took an early lead in the second inning as the Tetons drove in one on a single in the second inning.

Williston scored five runs in the fifth inning. Williston 's big inning was driven by a triple and a double.

Tyler Legault led the Jacks with one run batted in. He went 0-for-1 on the day. DCB didn't commit a single error in the field. Brody Moum had eight chances in the field, the most on the team.
