The NJCAA announced their academic awards for the 2022-23 school year Monday. The awards recognize student athletes who had success in the classroom. The Lumberjack Women's Basketball Team was named the Women's Basketball Academic Team of the year, the award given to the team with the best team GPA in each sport. The Jacks had a 3.90 team GPA. The Volleyball team was recognized as an All-Academic team with a 3.74 team GPA. Individual student athletes were also recognized for their academic achievements. Twenty-six Lumberjacks were named to Academic All Americans and are listed below. First Team members had a 4.0 GPA, Second Team had a 3.80-3.99 GPA and Third Team had a 3.60-3.79 GPA. Congrats to all the Jacks succeeding on the field, court, and in the classroom, we are proud of you.
