The Lumberjack Softball team traveled to Kansas and Nebraska for eight games over spring break. The Jacks were unable to pick up a win on the road trip.
12-0 loss to Colby Community College
Zoe Romero picked up a hit for the Jacks and Darcie Rae swiped a base.
16-1 loss to Colby Community College
Emma Rybchinski and Ava Flannery each picked up a hit for DCB. Z. Romero had four strikeouts in the circle.
20-0 loss to McCook Community College
Jamaica Cheatham doubled for the Jacks.
28-4 loss to McCook Community College
Rybchinski homered for the Jacks and drove in two runs. Eveleana Parker also drove in a run. Cheatham doubled for the second straight game, and Flannery also picked up a double. Adyson Brady registered a strikeout in the circle.
25-3 loss to Dodge City Community College
Flannery continued a strong spring break trip with two RBIs, Cheatham also drove in a run. Z. Romero and Brady each hurled two strikeouts.
26-5 loss to Dodge City Community College
Cheatham tailed two doubles in the contest. Brady drove in two runs, Rybchinski, and Z. Romero were each credited with an RBI.
10-6 loss to North Platte Community College
The Jacks attempted a late game rally with five runs in the fourth inning but would come up short. Emanuell Weber picked up a hit and drove in two runs. Laila Romero, Z. Romero, Brady, and Rybchinski each also drove in a run. Brady also stole a base. Rae had a nice game in the circle, pitching all six innings and striking out five.
12-4 loss to North Platte Community College
Calleja Misson led the Jacks offensive attack with two RBIs. L. Romero also drove in a run. Z. Romero picked up a double. Rae picked up a stolen base. Z. Romero worked 4.2 innings and picked up three strikeouts.
The Jacks finish non-conference play 1-1. DCB will have a week off before opening Mon-Dak play in two weeks at Miles Community College.
