Dakota College Head Softball Coach Casey-May Huff recently announced the signing of Fessenden-Bowden infielder Tyjah Hornbacher to the program for the 2022-23 year.

Hornbacher, the daughter of Bryon and Crystal Hornbacher of Bowden, will graduate from  Fessenden-Bowden High School in May 2022 and plans to enter the nursing program at Dakota College.

During her time in high school, Hornbacher was named best defensive player, student of the quarter, and she was on the honor roll.

"Tyjah brings a lot of positive attributes athletically and academically to our roster," Huff said, "I knew from the moment I met her that she would be a player I would want on our team".
