The Lumberjack men's basketball enters the semester break on a 6-game winning streak and winners of 13 of their last 14 games, sitting with a record of 13-3 as they prepare for Mn-Dok play. After dropping the first two games of the Mon-Dak tip off the Jacks rattled off seven straight wins before slipping up on the road against Minnesota North Hibbing. The Jacks have since rattled off six straight wins.
It is an evenly balanced attack that has led the Jacks to their 13-3 record. DCB has six scorers between 12.9 points and 8.3 points. Jalen Blanchard leads the DCB with 12.9 points a game Blanchard has primarily been used as a 6th man for the Jacks. Jaden Arzola is the next high highest score with 12.6 from a guard spot, Arzola also leads the team in assists with 3.5 a game. His backcourt cohort Shaun Armstrong averages 10.6 a game as the two split point guard duties. Phil Gibaut is the next highest score on the stat sheet averaging 10.4 points a game. Cael Simpson has been the man in the middle for the Jacks averaging 8.5 points a game and leading the team in rebounds with 6.5 a game. Edward Lual has also been a key contributor to the offense coming off the bench to average 8.3 points a game.
