Jacks Fall During Final Road Trip

The Lumberjack Women's Hockey team dropped their final road game of the season 4-2 to Assiniboine College.

The Cougars scored first four minutes into the game. Assiniboine added two more goals before the Jacks got on the board. McKenna Walls found the back of the net with two minutes remaining in the second period to make the score 3-1 in favor of the Cougars, Taylor Corkish had the assist. Assiniboine added one more goal to their total with forty seconds remaining in the second period to take a 4-1 lead into the intermission. DCB scored early in the third period when Walls set up Cydny Price for a goal. The Jacks would fail to score again, falling by a final score of 4-2.

The Jacks fall to 6-11-1-0. DCB closes out their regular season at home tonight and Saturday against Lake Region State College. Puck drops are slated for 7:00p.m. and 2:00p.m. respectively.
