Jacks Win Home Finale, Grow Win Streak to Seven

The Lumberjack Men's Hockey closed out their 2024-25 home slate Wednesday night with a 4-0 win over Williston State College.

Jace Thompson got the Jacks on the board with just over five minutes remaining in the period converting on a powerplay opportunity. Nick Cofer and Kayden Cey assisted. Just two minutes later Alex Lorenz made it 2-0 Jacks thanks to assists from Dodge Long and Ethan Unger. After a scoreless second period Lorenz scored his second goal of the night to put the Jacks up 3-0, Jeremy Klimchuk and Kole Fitzpatrick were credited with the assists. The final goal of the night came when Carter Ralston found the back of the net during a powerplay opportunity for DCB. Long and Charlie Heimbecker snagged the assists. DCB would hold on to shutout the Tetons. Rylan Labrie saved all 16 shots in net to secure the win.

DCB extends their win streak to seven games and improve their overall record to 15-8-2-1. The Jacks close out the regular season Sunday at Lake Region State College, puck drop is set for noon.
