Jacks Win Streak Grows to Four

The Lumberjack Men's Hockey Team extended their lead to four games with a 5-0 victory over Lake Region State College Wednesday night.

Dodge Long opened the scoring early in the first period, Alex Lorenz and Carter Ralston were credited with the assists. Just three minutes later Nick Cofer found the back of the net. Jace Thompson and Wyatt Curtis had the assists. Thompson added a goal to go with his assist to close the scoring in the first period, Kayden Cey assisted.

Reese Andres netted his first goal of the season to open the 2nd period scoring Charlie Heimbecker and Tyson Wildeboer snagged the assists. Ralston picked up the final goal of the game to go with his first period assist, Logan Mantell and Riley Opperude dished the puck for the assists. There was no scoring for the remainder of the game bringing the final score to 5-0. Rylan Labrie picked up the win in net with 31 saves for a shutout victory.

With the win the Jacks move to 12-8-2-1 overall. DCB travels to Jamestown Saturday puck drop is set for 7:00p.m.
