Jacks Roll Past Tetons

After narrowly getting by Williston State College Wednesday night the Lumberjack Men's Hockey team rebounded in Sunday's road rematch with a convincing 7-1 victory.

 The Jacks opened the scoring when Carter Ralston scored off assists from Nick Cofer and Dodge Long. Three minutes later DCB made it 2-0 Nick Curtis scored; Kayden Cey picked up an assist as did Long his second on the night. Late in the period the Jacks capitalized on a powerplay opportunity as Jace Thompson snuck one past the goalie and the assist came from Cey.

Thompson added another goal to his stat sheet early in the second period and Jacob Measel was credited with the assist. Long picked up a goal to go with his two prior assists to add to the Jacks lead, Ralston and Logan Mantell had the assists. The Tetons were able to break up the shutout in the second period to make the score 5-1.

Thompson completed his hattrick in the third period and Cey added another assist to his night. Long capped the scoring for the game to finish off another impressive game for himself, and Ralston was credited with his second assist of the contest. The Jacks went on to pick up the win by a final score of 7-1. Rylan Labrie picked up the win in net with 20 saves.

DCB's record improves to 11-8-2-1.  The Jacks host Lake Region State College Wednesday at 7:00p.m.
