Out of the timeout the Ladyjacks tried chipping away at the WSC lead getting it within two at 16-14. Williston State took momentum back however with a 4-0 run to stretch the lead back to six at 20-14. DCB would use their final timeout of the set to try and slow the Tetons momentum. A kill by Tenielle Chapman-Goodluck would tie the game at 24-24. Chapman-Goodluck and fellow sophomore Whitni Peck would work together to get a block and give the Ladyjacks a set point opportunity. Chapman-Goodluck would add another kill and the Ladyjacks would complete the comeback to win the set 26-24.

Set three was very back-and-forth in the early going with neither team able to get more than a one-point lead. DCB was finally able to pull away from WSC with a 9-5 lead. As the set passed the halfway point the Ladyjacks still held a narrow four-point lead at 14-10 causing the Tetons to use a timeout. Out of the timeout the Ladyjacks kept things rolling stretching their lead to seven at 18-11. Williston State was able to get the game back within one at 24-23 forcing DCB to use a timeout. Out of the timeout DCB had set point, but the Tetons were able to tie the game at 24-24 leading to the Ladyjacks using their final timeout of the set. Out of the timeout DCB responded with a kill from another sophomore in Megan Weisbeck to give the Ladyjacks another opportunity at set point. Weisbeck and Koylynn Gulliford blocked a Teton kill opportunity to win the set 26-24.

The fourth set saw both teams battle for control. Just like in set three for much of the early going the lead did not get larger than one point. As the set reached the halfway point the Ladyjacks held a 13-12 lead. WSC took a 17-15 lead forcing a DCB timeout. Out of the timeout the Tetons took full control of the set finishing on an 11-2 run to win the set 25-17 and force the deciding 5th set.

The fifth set was very back and forth early on. The Tetons were able to gain control and able to go on a run to win the set and the match 15-9. With the loss the Ladyjacks fall to 8-12 overall and 4-8 in the Mon-Dak. DCB opens Sub-Region Tournament play Sunday at NDSCS game time set for noon.
