A pair of Canadians, Sophomore OH Michelle Krahn of Pilot Mound, Manitoba and Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Sophomore Libero/DS Sarah Marshall will both be moving on to NAIA schools next season to continue their student-athlete careers.

Krahn will be attending Mayville State University in Mayville, ND while Marshall will attend Presentation College in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Krahn was a two year starter at OH and finished second on the team in kills and third in service aces.  She also established herself as a 6 rotational player after playing almost exclusively in the front row her freshman season.  She finished fourth on the team in digs behind only the team's three back court players.   It would seem like Mayville will have a tough time keeping her off the softball field as well as she is one of DCB's top players.  She was an All-Region SS last season helping lead her team to the NJCAA Division III National Tournament.

Marshall was also a two year starter for the Ladyjacks at Libero or DS.  She alternated regularly with with sophomore and fellow Canadian Karrien Marteniuk to give the team a solid back court. Marshalll was coach Mike Smith's first recruit back in the summer of 2018.

She is a tenacious back court player and team captain.  She picked up 464 digs over her two seasons.

"I'm really proud of these two and I look forward to following their careers next season.  Michelle will play softball for us so she won't get much of a break.  Looking forward to several of the other sophomores announcing thier plans very shortly.  It's really exciting to go through this process with this great group of young ladies", stated Coach Smith.
