The DCB Ladyjacks volleyball team added Montana's Angel Richards to the roster for the 2019 season. Richards, a 5'11" Senior at Stevensville High School, signed a Letter of Intent and will give the Ladyjacks a little more needed size. She was a 1st Team All-Conference and 1st team All -State player in 2018 at Stevensville, an A category team. She was a 2nd Team All-Conference her Junior year. Richards was a team captain with impressive stats. In her Senior year she had 133 kills in 46 sets, playing as a middle. She added 50 blocks and an impressive 40 aces to her totals.
"I watched her play at the Montana A Divisionals in Whitefish and was impressed with her attitude and leadership qualities. She has the skill and size to develop into a solid player for us," stated Head Coach Mike Smith.
Richards will also play for coach Wayne Johnson's Ladyjacks basketball team where the two year All-Conference Post will give the team some depth at that position.
