Ladyjacks Volleyball Season Comes to an End

Ladyjacks Volleyball Season Comes to an End

The 2017 volleyball season has ended for the Dakota College at Bottineau Ladyjacks. They competed in the West Sub-Region 13 Tournament over the weekend in Williston, ND at the Well on Williston State's campus. The Ladyjacks faced off against Bismarck State College and lost in four sets. Then, they played against Dawson Community College with the Lady Bucs beating DCB in three sets. Bismarck State would go on to win the West Sub-Region 13 Tournament over Dawson CC.

The Ladyjacks would finish with 4 wins and 21 losses on the season. Their wins came over two teams they would beat twice and they were Lake Region State College and Oak Hills Christian College. Coach Scherr really enjoyed coaching this group of girls. She said that this was one of her most fun groups sharing a countless amount of laughs. Even though the Ladyjacks did not get as many wins on the season as they wanted, it was still a success. They came out and competed every night. Coach Scherr was really proud of them for never giving up on the season and bringing a good attitude to every practice and game. They provided some great moments and memories in the Woodshed.

Thank you sophomores for giving the program, your teammates, and fans everything you had. We look forward to another successful DCB Volleyball season in the fall of 2018.
