Dakota College at Bottineau's volleyball team traveled to Brandon, MB to play Assiniboine Community College. The Ladyjacks dropped two games to them over the weekend. It was a battle back and forth Friday night ending in  3 sets with scores: 22-25, 21-25, and 26-28. Saturday's game lasted 4 sets and the scores were: 25-15, 17-25, 20-25, and 22-25.

On Friday's game, Zaasha Yellow Wolf led the attack with 6 kills with many other ladyjacks contributing. Abbey Franklin set them up tallying 11 assists. Quinn Bilaney led the defensive effort with 23 digs. On Saturday's game, Victoria Obergfell led the team in kills with 8 while adding a team leading 15 assists. Rebecca Helmeczi added 6 kills and totaled 2 solo blocks.

The Ladyjacks are back in action on Tuesday, October 10th. They will travel to Bemidji, MN to take on Oak Hills Christian College. The game time is set for 5:30 PM and can be watched at this link. 

DCB volleyball will be home this week on Thursday, October 12th. They will be hosting North Dakota State College of Science. The game is set for 7:00 PM in the Woodshed and they will celebrate Sophomore night. Immediately following the game, there is a homecoming pep rally and coronation.
