Jamestown JV Beats DCB

Jamestown JV Beats DCB

Jamestown, ND - The Ladyjacks traveled to Jamestown, ND to take on the University of Jamestown JV program. Their JV team has not lost a match all season, 8-0, including a win over current Mon-Dak leader, North Dakota State College of Science. Dakota College at Bottineau lost the 3-set contest (12-25, 16-25, and 20-25).

During the first set of play, Samantha Cullen sprained her ankle. She is out indefinitely. This comes at an unfortunate time for the program because they have two upcoming conference games with Dawson Community College tonight and Lake Region State College on Sunday, October 1st. Samantha brings a lot of offense to the team with 43 kills on the season. Coach Scherr is really confident the ladies around Sam can step up and fill her gaps. She was really pleased with the girls effort and ability to make plays after the injury occured.

The Ladyjacks are hosting Dawson CC tonight, September 28th. Dawson is 3-6 on the season and 1-3 in the Mon-Dak. The game time is set for 7:00 PM in the Woodshed. The game will be streamed here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQKBvgaN2m1UjNxHHAOy7Xw/live
