The DCB Ladyjacks traveled to Winnipeg on Saturday, January 11th to face Canadian Mennonite University.  DCB stuggled to find their offense for most of the day, falling to CMU 46-41.

The Ladyjacks came back after an early 8 point deficit to only trail 26-25 at halftime.  But a 3rd quarter where the Ladyjacks only scored 6 points as a team hurt them.  They came back to ourscore the Blazers 10-9 in the 4th quarter was not enough.

From Coach Johnson; "When it comes right down to it, basketball is a pretty simple game. The team that makes the most baskets wins.  Today was a perfect example, we couldn't make baskets.  We shot our worst percentage of the year, with 21% from the field and 20% from behind the three-point arc.  We need to learn some things from this game and then put it behind us as the schedule gets brutal immediately."

The Ladyjacks were led by Shadlynn Severance and Melayna Four Bears with 9 points each.  Sydnie Nelson scored 8 points and Trinity Goggles brought down 15 rebounds to go along with 6 points.

DCB will travel to Bismarck State Monday night in a MonDak Conference game.
