DCB LADYJACKS BASKETBALL SIGNING

Jaidyn Brummond (Granville, ND)

Jaidyn Brummond has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Dakota College at Bottineau Ladyjacks for the 2020-21 school year.

Jaidyn is a 5'11 post player and played her high school basketball for the TGU Titans.  As a junior she averaged 20.2 points per game and 9.3 rebounds.  She also contributed 18 steals and 39 blocked shots during the 2018-19 season.   Brummond was selected to the All-Region 6 team as Junior and to the All-District 11 team as a junior and sophomore.  She recently joined the 1,000 point club at TGU.  

Coach Johnson's comments:

"We are very excited to welcome Jaidyn to the Ladyjack family.  We believe she is a great fit for our program.  Jaidyn will provide a solid post presence on both ends of the court.  Offensively she is a finisher around the basket and we feel will be a player we can play through.  Defensively Jaidyn moves well and has a shot blockers anticipation skillset.  Our lack of size has hurt us on the boards and we look for her to really help us in the rebounding area.  Jaidyn is a high character young lady and is a strong student in the classroom.  We expect her to be another great Ladyjack example of what we look for in a student/athlete."
