DCB Ladyjack Basketball moved above the .500 mark on Saturday with a 88-48 win over the NC All-Stars, a team made up mostly of former Ladyjack players.  DCB jumped out to a 27-15 lead after 1 quarter and never looked back.  The game was also a time to see former Ladyjack standouts come back to campus.  Melayna Four Bear lead DCB with 20 points, follwed by Abby SImons with 19 and Jayla Howard contributing 12 in the victory.  Lauren Gangl and Sydnie Nelson had good all-around games.  Gangl scored 5 points, had a game high 10 rebounds, and also contributed 4 assists.  Nelson led the Ladyjacks with 5 assists and also contributed 6 rebounds and 3 points.

After the game, Coach Johnson had this to say; "We got a lot of minutes out of everyone available and everyone who played got in the scoring column.  We weren't consistent throughout the game but put together some nice runs.  I thought we moved and shared the ball very well, as indicated by our season high 27 assists.  Overall it was a fun day and solid performance by our Ladyjacks."

After the Thanksgiving Break, DCB will be back in action on Monday, December 2nd with a game against Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College out of New Town, ND.  Game time will be 6 PM in the Woodshed.
