Melayna Four Bear has signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Dakota College at Bottineau Ladyjacks during the 2019-20 school year.

Melayna is a 5'5 guard who played her high school basketball for the Killdeer Cowboys.  As a high school senior she averaged 10.6 points and 1.5 steals per game.  Melayna shot 44% from the field, 32% from beyond the three point arc, and 60% from the free throw line.

Head Coach Wayne Johnson describes her as a "hardworking, supportive teammate.  She is an outstanding shooter, especially from three point range, something we really value.  Her range will definitely stretch the defense creating opportunities for her teammates to get to the basket."

Welcome to the DCB family Melayna!
