The DCB Ladyjacks basketball team lost a coin toss to determine who would host their region XIII semi-final versus United Tribes Technical College and will join their male counterparts Wednesday February 27th in Bismarck.  Both the Jacks and Ladyjacks split their 2 game MonDak series against each other.  The Women's game will begin at 5:30pm with the Men's game to follow.  

On Sunday both team's lost their season finale at home against very strong NDSCS teams.  The Ladyjacks fell to NDSCS 83-61 while the men lost 109-84.  Not bad results considering the Division II DCB teams were playing one of the top Division I teams in the MonDak conference. 

The women were lead by Victoria Obergfell who scored 19 while Breanna Thompson added 10.  Abby Iverson was the top rebounder with 4 and was tops in assists with 5. Obergfell also added two blocked shots.  

The Men saw the return to form of top scorer Tyrie Johnson who scored 28 on 10 for 13 from the floor and 8 for 8 from the charity stripe. Johnson had missed several games in February due to a lower body injury. 

Both Johnson and Obergfell will be counted on for big points Wednesday night in Bismarck.  The winner of this game will advance to the Region XIII final on the weekend.
