It's a busy 5 days for DCB athletics!

DCB basketball gets the ball rolling, as they say, with huge MonDak conference games for both the Women's and Men's teams tonight in Bismarck against United Tribes Technical College.  They will return on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, to host Dawson College at the Woodshed.

The Men sit at 6-12 while the woman are at 8-9.  Tyree Johnson is the top scorer amongst Mondak players averaging 23 points per game while Dwaine Simmons is 4th in the conference in rebounds with 8 per game.  For the Ladyjacks, Victoria Obergfell is second in the conference in PPG with 22.5 and 4th in rebounds with 6.1 per game.  

The hockey team is off to Colorado to participate in the Big Mountain Classis with games Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  The games take place in and around the Denver area.  The team is ranked 9th in the West in the most recent poll announced today.  There will be no easy games as they play the #2, 3, 4 and 5 ranked teams in the west in Colorado.    

Kyle Peters leads the team in scoring with 20 points while 4 players, Daniel Nomerstad, Wade Thompson, Dryden Bound, and Colin Van Kommer are second with 10 points each.  Jay Pringle has went the distance for the Jacks in net playing all but 80 minutes between the pipes.  He sports a 3.03 GAA and a solid .920 save percentage.
