DCB's Victoria Obergfell has been named the MonDak Women's Basketball Player of the Week.  

Obergfell, a 5'7" sophomore guard from Plentywood, Montana scored 84 points in three games leading the Ladyjacks to a 2-1 record for the week.  She shot 53% from the field and 79% from the free throw line.  She added 17 rebounds, 11 assists and 7 steals.  

Obergfell missed the first three games of the season for the Ladyjacks but since returning has been a force.  She has the highest PPG average in the conference at 28 PPG and is tied for third in total scoring in just three games.  

In her freshman year Obergfell finished 15th in the MonDak conference in points per game at 11.7, 11th in rebounds per game with 6.1 and 9th in steals with 21 in 12 games.  Obergfell sat out the 2017-18 year due to injury.  It seems the time away from the court has not bothered her as she has started the year off in fine fashion. 

The Ladyjacks next action is Friday and Saturday as they compete in the Miles Community College Pioneer Foundation Classic tournament in Miles City, Montana.
