The DCB Ladyjacks finished a great week when they traveled to Williston and defeated the Tetons 62-54 on Thursday night.
DCB played solid defense and made some timely plays down the stretch to grind out the win. A 12-2 run late in the 3rd quarter and great free throw shooting in the final few minutes of the game keyed the win.
Leading the Jacks in scoring were Dior Dioum with 17 points and Madie Erickson with 13. Ellie Messmer led the team in rebounding with 11 boards and Madie Erickson added 4 assists.
With the win, DCB improved to 2-1 in the Mon-Dak Conference, already matching their win total in the league for all of last season.
Next action for the Ladyjacks will be Sunday, January 22st when they take on the University of Jamestown JV team at 2:00 p.m. in the Woodshed. It will be a busy couple of days as Dawson CC comes to the Woodshed the next day for a MonDak Conference tilt.
