The Ladyjacks picked up a solid win Tuesday evening at the Woodshed defeating the Trinity Bible College Lions by a score of 76-50. The game was close at halftime with the Jacks leading by a score of 38-33 but a strong defensive effort in the third quarter when the Ladyjacks outscored the Lions by a score of 25-2 was the difference in the game. A 52-36 rebounding advantage by the Jacks vs the smaller Lions was also a big factor in the victory. Dior Dioum and Kennedy Sondrol led the team defensive effort. Four Ladyjacks scored in double figures with Kennedy Sondrol and Ellie Messmer netting 20 points, Dior Dioum 13, and Kelsey Bowers 10. Kennedy's scoring came from a season high 6 three point field goals made. Kennedy and Kelsey led the team in rebounding with 9 each, while Dior and Breanna Thompson chipped in with 8 boards a piece. Ellie led the team in assists with 6 and blocked shots with 4. The Ladyjacks will now take the Thanksgiving break before getting back in action on Tuesday, November 28 when they travel to New Town to take on Nueta Hidatsa Sahnish College. Game time is 5:30 p.m.
