Tough times for the Ladyjacks at the Cobblestone Classic. They lost Friday evening to a very good Sisseton Wahpeton College by a score of 99-73. A poor first quarter saw the Jacks down by 16 and even though they played pretty well for the remaining three quarters they just couldn't get any closer. Ellie Messmer had an excellent game leading the Ladyjacks in scoring with 17 points, rebounding with 12, assists with 5, and steals with 2. Kennedy Sondrol had a double/double scoring 11 and 11 rebounds. Breanna Thompson contributed with 10 points and 9 rebounds.

Saturday's game was a real heart breaker for the Ladyjacks as they squandered leads of 12 points with 3:30 to go in the game and 7 points with under a minute to play. The Jacks had a very good 14 minute stretch in the second half when they seemed to be in control of the game but could not finish for the victory. Ellie Messmer had another excellent game leading the Jacks with 25 points and 15 rebounds. Dior Dioum and Quinn Billaney scored 12 and 11 points respectively. Dior led the team with 6 assist and 4 steals. The next game for the Ladyjacks is Tuesday, November 21 when they take on Trinity Bible College at the Woodshed. Game time is 5:30 PM.
