Jamestown JV Bests Ladyjacks

A sluggish start against the Jamestown Jimmies led to a loss for the Ladyjacks on Tuesday evening at Jamestown. After falling behind 30-8 in a first quarter, when nothing went right for our ladies, they stepped up and battled back with three good quarters of basketball. A second quarter in which the Ladyjacks outscored the Jimmies by a score of 23-15 gave the team some needed confidence. The Jacks were led in scoring by Dior Dioum with 19, Ellie Messmer with 17, and Kennedy Sondrol with 15 points. Quinn Billany led the team in rebounding with 6 and Dior in assists with 5. The next games for the Ladyacks will be this weekend when they take on Wahpeton Sisseton College on Friday and Red River College on Saturday in the Cobblestone Classic at the Woodshed. Games times are 6:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. respectively.
