Robles Sisters Moving on to XULA

Robles Sisters Moving on to XULA

DCB twin pitchers Vivionna and Vannity Robles will not be back this fall as they have signed NAIA Letters of Intent to attend Xavier University of Louisiana for the 2020-21 season.

The California pitchers could have come back for their first year of softball after playing in just 6 games this past spring in the Covid shortened season.  Instead they will head to XULA for their sophomore college year and take to the circle for the first year NAIA program.

"I hated to see them go.  This is life at a Junior College.  We have had some success lately and 4 year programs are after our kids.  They were a pleasure to coach and are really great kids.  I think they needed another year at this level but they got an offer they couldn't refuse, stated Head Coach Mike Smith.

They join DCB teammate Ladaija Fitzgerald in New Orleans.  XULA plays in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
