Ladaija Fitzgerald has signed a NAIA Letter of Intent to play for Xavier University of Louisiana for the upcoming season.  

Fitzgerald, the Ladyjacks starting 2B, will head to New Orleans and suit up for the Gold Nuggets of XULA.  

In 2019 Fitzgerald batted .322 with a .379 OBP.  She added 7 doubles and 2 HRs while striking out only 8 times in 121 at bats.  

"Ladaija hit very well for us and had a number of key hits on our way to the National Tournament. I expect her to continue getting stronger and I know she is really working hard getting ready for the fall, stated Coach Mike Smith. 

Fitzgerald joins fellow Las Vegas resident Savannah Fabro as transfers to XULA.
