Due to a weather forecast calling for rain, this weekend's first two softball playoff games between the hometown Ladyjacks and NDSCS will now be played at 12Noon and 2:00pm on Friday. They were originally scheduled for 2:00 and 4:00pm.
The games will take place at Tommy Turtle Park.
The winner of the best of three will advance to the Region 13 North playoff on May 16-18. DCB or NDSCS will join three Minnesota teams. The winner of the regional will advance to the NJCAA Div. III National Championships the following weekend in Rochester, Minnesota.
The Ladyjacks currently are 22-11 and ranked #10 in the most recent NJCAA Division III rankings.
