The DCB Ladyjacks softball team have added four players to their roster for the 2019 spring softball season.  

The first to commit was Canadian 1B/3B Elisa Clay of Ridge Meadows, British Columbia.  She played club softball for Ridge Meadows and is a power hitting 1B.  "Elisa has been away from the game for a year and a half and is working getting herself back inot the groove.  She played in a softball hotbed in Vancouver and her swing is really solid.  She is also a very good defensive infielder. "  Head Coach Mike Smith. 

The Ladyjacks then signed Nicole Forrest of Las Vegas, Nevada.  Forrest, also a corner infielder, plays club softball for the Sin City team and high school for Las Vegas High School. In her Senior year in 30 games she hit .405 with 6 doubles, 7 homeruns and 31 RBI.  Her OPS(on base plus slugging) was an astronomical 1.219.  She was voted by district coaches to the second team All Sunrise League, joining Freshman Ladyjack Savannah Fabro who was voted to the first team.  

Catcher Skylyn Karonis joins the team from Green Valley High School.  "Skylyn has been out of school for a year but playing club softball with Sin City.  She gives us another quality catcher, a position you seem to never have enough of!" added Smith.

The fourth player is Pitcher Destiny Lewis.  Lewis will transfer form Fresno City College and will give the Ladyjacks another arm to go with freshman Kassidy Cunningham, Redshirt freshman Randee Charlo and sophomore Kennedy Cunningham. Lewis sat out the spring season at Fresno and previously pitched for Roosevelt High School in Fresno where she was a first team All North Yosemite League Selection. 

The Ladyjacks begin practising January 10th and will see their first action Feb. 2 and 3 in the Minot State Bubble.  For game details check
