DCB softball has finalized a weekend of indoor games at the Minot Bubble.  The Ladyjacks will take on MonDak Division II opponents Dawson College, Williston State College, and Lake Region State College and well as Division III Conference rival North Dakota State College of Science.

Game are as follows:

Saturday Feb. 2    1:15pm  vs  Williston State College

                           3:45pm  vs  NDSCS

Sunday Feb. 3      9:00am  vs  Dawson Community College

12:30pm  vs  Lake Region State College

The Ladyjacks are close to finalizing another set of indoor games March 25-26 in Minneapolis at the Irish Dome.

The Ladyjacks finished 9-18 last season losing several games to the unusually cold spring weather that hit most of the Northwest US.  The team looks to be much stronger in 2018-19 with a strong group of freshman currently on campus.  "If our fall games are any indication of our talent level then we should be ok.  We played well in the fall and I am excited about the prospects for spring season.  Coach Mike Getzloff brought in several key players and has really improved our talent level," stated Head Coach Mike Smith.

Some key additions include Las Vegas freshman Ladaija Fitzgerald, Savannah Fabro and Stephany Ahmed.  Freshman catcher Claire Heibert of Winnipeg's Vincent Massey Collegiate is expected to be the team's top backstop.  Kassidy Cunningham will join her sophomore sister Kennedy on the Ladyjacks pitching staff.  Cunningham was a top pitcher in the Manitoba 18U league and will give the team three solid pitchers along with her sister and red-shirt freshman Randee Charlo of Charlo, Montana.

The team is currently undergoing voluntary weight training and throwing activities.  The team will begin practising on the first eligible day January 10th.

The team is expected to announce several signings for the 2019-20 season in the coming weeks.
