Dakota College at Bottineau signed Jazzmin Keplin to a softball letter of intent last week, the second Turtle Mountain High School athlete to sign in the past three weeks.

Earlier, the Ladyjacks signed Taylor Keplin.  Taylor and Jazzmin have both been playing fast pitch softball for the Bravettes since they were 7th graders.  They have been starting at the varsity level since they were in the 8th grade.

Both girls bring some impressive stats to the college game.  Taylor batted .485 her junior season while playing every position except pitcher and 1st base.

Jazzmin batted .415 with 7 doubles and 3 triples.  She spent most of her field time in the circle, pitching for Belcourt.  Jazzmin plays infield as well as pitcher.

Comments from Coach Getzloff:

"The Keplin girls will certainly be a great addition to our fast pitch softball program.  They are very athletic, which will allow our coaching staff to play them at different positions."
