Jacks Hockey Wins 1st Game At National Tournament! Game Two Today!

The first ever DCB ACHA National Tournament game went very well for the Lumberjacks as they defeated Adrian College of Michigan 4-2. 

A balanced scoring attack and solid goaltending by Matt Trulsen lead DCB to the win.  It was the first of three pool games.  One team from each of four pools will advance to the Tournament semi-finals.  

The scoring summary was as follows:  1st Period-  Jobin Smith from Geoffrey Dick and Zane MacDonald.     2nd Period- Zane MacDonald Unassisted.,  Daniel Clyne from Blake Carpenter.     3rd Period-  Ryan Patterson from Will Yates and Chayse Haberman. 

The Jacks are back on the ice today at 1:30pm at the Capital Ice Complex in Bismarck as they take on East Texas Baptist University.  The Jacks are 2nd ranked in their pool while East Texas Baptist is ranked 4th.  Lindenwood dropped their 1st pool game 10-2 to the #1 seeded team Lindenwood.
