Jacks Handle Storm

All 10 DCB Lumberjacks that saw the floor on Wednesday night scored in the Jacks 109-73 win over the NHSC Storm.

The Jacks used a balanced attack in the first half with eight players scoring at least three points. The Jacks lead hung around the thirteen-to-seventeen-point range for much of the contest. A quick serge that included three dunks, two by Jacob Smith and one by Max Groom gave the Jacks the momentum to push their lead into the thirties. From there the Jacks cruised to the 109-73 win.

As a team DCB shot an impressive 64% from the field. Brendan Redhead led five Jacks in double-figures with 24 points. Jacob Smith finished with 19 points and 7 rebounds. Loukas Triantis dropped in 13 points. Woodson Baptiste and Jon Rey Taylor scored 12 and 10 points respectively off the bench. TJ Shellman led the Storm and all scorers with 28 points.

With the win the Jacks move to 8-4 overall. DCB will close out the first semester with a pair of road games. Saturday they will travel to Jamestown to take on the Jimmies JV team. Sunday the Jacks will have a key Mon-Dak game against Bismarck State College.
