TMCC jumped out to a quick 9-2 lead and forced a DCB timeout. Late in the half the Jacks got a spark from Max Groom off the bench. Groom scored 11 points in the first half and helped cut the TMCC lead to four at 28-24 at the half. Loukas Triantis hit a corner three at the start of the second half to cut the Mikinocks lead to one, but that's as close as the Lumberjacks would get.
