Sophomore 6'7" post Dwaine Simmons has been named a 2nd Team MonDak All-Conference player for the 2019-20 season.
Simmons was 2nd on the team in scoring with 13.9 PPG and lead the team in Rebounds per game with 8.7.
Those totals ranked him 15th in the Mondak in scoring and 5th in rebounding.
In his freshman season Simmons saw limited court time at just around 10 minutes per game but still managed almost 4 rebounds per game. He blossomed this season into a solid post and hit a respectable 48.9 % from the field.
Sophomore Tyrie Johnson finished 3rd in the MonDak conference in scoring with 22.7 points per game but was left off the ballot. He played in just 21 of the teams 31 games after suffering an ankle sprain. He was solid in the final playoff loss to United Tribes scoring 30 points but it wasn't enough to sway the voters.
Simmons and Johnson played their last game with the Jacks and will now work to earn an opportunity at a 4 year school.
