On Friday November 16th the DCB Lumberjacks Men's basketball team learned a lesson, courtesy of a very strong Division I Casper College Thunderbirds.  The Thunderbirds schooled the young Lumberjacks in Miles City on their way to a 110-56 win.

Fast forward to last night's re-match, a game played on the Thunderbird's home court.  The DCB Jacks did lose the game but came up with one of their better efforts of the season scoring an incredible 96 points against a top NJCAA Division I team.  The Thunderbirds won the game 130-96 but Head Coach Brock Lemon was pleased with the effort.  "We competed much better this time around against them.  Casper is a good team that has a really solid chance of making a deep national tournament run."

Nizarre Thompson had his best game of the young season scoring 28, including going 6 for 11 from three point range.  Top scorer Tyree Johnson added 28 While Tyriek Johnson added 15 while adding 7 assists.  Dante Brunnelli was the leading rebounder with 7.

The Jacks are in action Saturday in game three of the Foss Motors Thanksgiving Classic Men's basketball tournament.  They take on Colorado Northwestern Community College at 4:00pm Central.  Livestream is available at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCb3DHh28nv3LmxO20UKdDsw/featured
