Current Lumberjack Antonio Singleton recently tried out and was selected for a roster spot in the new Junior Basketball Association professional developmental league.

The Junior Basketball Association (JBA) is an upcoming American men's professional basketball league, planned to be composed of 8 teams in four major cities. Considered the first junior professional basketball league in the world, it is designed as an alternative to the NCAA and to allow top high school prospects to immediately play professionally. The league, first announced in December 2017 by LaVar Ball, will be completely funded by Ball's sports apparel company Big Baller Brand. The inaugural season of the JBA will begin in the summer of 2018 and end in September.

Antonio has decided to take this opportunity and will not be returning to the Lumberjacks next year.  Singleton Averaged 11.6 PPG 6.3 RPG 2.4 APG while shooting 47% from the field and 81% from  the free throw line for the Jacks this past season. His high flying electrifying dunks will be missed in the Lumberdome next year, but we wish Antonio great success in this next move in his career.
