Lumberjacks Continue Win Streak

Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks played Turtle Mountain Community College on Tuesday, December 5th. The Jacks won the game 105-64. The Lumberjacks continue their red hot streak to 12 wins and no losses on the season.

The team was led in points by Jordell Ross, finishing the game with 18 points and 14 rebounds giving him another double-double. Cedric Crutchfield and Erik Palmer also added double-double efforts in points and rebounds. Crutchfield ended the game with 12 points and 11 rebounds while Palmer tallied 11 points and 12 rebounds. Deylon Hunt continues to play great basketball through sharing the ball, he finished 8 assists. The Jacks finished the first half with a 20 point lead, 50-30. However, TMCC did not go away cutting the lead to 12 in the 2nd. The Lumberjacks answered with a spark from their bench which included the efforts from Palmer and Hunt.

DCB will be in action again over the weekend. They will head down to Wahpeton, ND to compete in the NDSCS Circle of Nations Classiche. The Jacks will face off against Jamestown JV on Friday at 4 PM and Dakota County on Saturday at 2 PM. These are the last two remaining games of the semester for the Lumberjacks. They will look to head into semester break with a record of 14-0.
