Clay Target Wraps up Season with Numerous Awards

The DCB Clay Target team wrapped up there season this week and were able to come away with a handful of team and individual awards.

As a team the Lumberjacks finished 2nd in the Blue Division. The Blue Division is made up of small teams with 6-9 members on each team and the best five scores counting for each team. DCB finished with 277.5 points, Northland Community and Technical College won the division with a score of 298.5.

Individually Will Broderius won the male Blue Division Regular Season Championship with an average score of 24.4 out of 25. On the women's side Monica Yoder won the Blue Division Regular Season Championship with an average score of 23.2 out of 25. Nevaeh Christanson finished 3rd with an average score of 20.9 out of 25.

At the MCAC Championship this week DCB was credited with a 14th place finish with a score of 452 out of 500. NDSCS won the event with a score of 488 out of 500. Yoder led the team hitting 94 of 100 targets including a perfect score in her final round. Broderius and Connor Meyers were next with 93 out of 100. Meyers score included a perfect round and his personal best final score. Christanson, and Lykken Gensrich each shot 86 out of 100 to be the final scores that counted towards the team scores both were also personal bests.

The rest of the team also had personal best scores Landon Faulkner shot 81 out of 100, Kyle Schell scored 80 out of 100, Chistina Anderson was credited with a 69 out of 100, and Macey Wobma shot 63 out of 100.
