The Ladyjacks Hockey Team returned to action for the first time in over a month this past weekend. DCB dropped both contests to ACHA D1 Minot State 4-0.

4-0 Loss

The Ladyjacks and Beavers both had their opportunities in the first period but neither team was able to capitalize for a goal. In the second period Minot struck first making it 1-0. The Ladyjacks had their opportunities again but couldn't find the back of the net. In the final period of play the Beavers took over with 3 goals to win by a final score of 4-0.

4-0 Loss

Just like the previous night neither team could get anything going in the first period and the teams were tied at 0-0.  The Beavers took full control of the game in the second period scoring two goals. Minot State added two insurance goals in the third period to push their lead to the final of 4-0. The Beavers didn't give the Ladyjacks many opportunities to score as DCB had just 7 shots on goal in the contest.

With these games being vs an ACHA D1 team they don't count against DCB in their rankings. The Ladyjacks return to action next weekend when they travel to Sault for a pair of games Saturday and Sunday.
