However late in the second period Brennah McLaughlin was able to find the net for DCB and give them the lead. Michelle Landsverk was credited with the assist. Zelyck's presence in goal remained a major factor as the Jimmies held a 21-9 advantage in shots on goal. The Jimmies were able to tie the game in the third period. Neither team was able to find the net for the remainder of regulation. In the overtime period both teams had opportunities to end the game, but neither were able to capitalize. Unfortunately for the Ladyjacks it was the Jimmies that found the back of the net. DCB was unable to answer and fell 2-1 to the University of Jamestown.

The Jimmies are a D1 program so the game will not count against the Ladyjacks record. DCB remains 2-0 on the season. The Ladyjacks are back in action next weekend hosting Wisconsin Stout for a two game series next Saturday and Sunday.
