On the night before the DCB Hockey team would learn their playoff fate the team put together one of their best games in the last few weeks.  DCB avenged last week's loss to Williston State College with a 5-4 overtime win at the Lumberdome.

The game was tight throughout with the teams tied at 1 after the first 20 minutes.  Kyle Peters cored his 11th goal and team leading 29th point.

The Jacks opened the 2nd with a quick goal by Wade Thompson just 1:23 into the period.  It was his 14th goal pushing him temporarily into the team lead in that department. The Tetons answered just 30 seconds later to tie it at 2.  The Jacks again answer quickly as Peyton Treichel nets his third of the season.  Three goals in just 2 minutes and 24 seconds.   The Tetons would tie it later in the period sending the teams to the dressing room at 3-3.

The teams would trade goals in the third with Kolby Chen scoring on a snap shot off a 2 on 1 break.  For the third consecutive game the Jacks would need extra time to decide a winner, and for a third time they would come out victorious!

Daniel Nomerstad would bang in a loose puck after some good work behind the net by Logan Robinson.  Robinson got free for a wrap around to the goalie's left and the puck squirted over to Nomerstad who was lurking near the right post.  Goaltender Connor Slipp had to make a few sizzling saves in overtime, including a dazzling glove save on a wide open shooter in the high slot.

The Jacks will finish the regular season this weekend with a home and home against the University of Mary, but it is Wednesday's ACHA Division II Reveal Show that is on their minds.  This will determine whether the Jacks have made one of the Regional Playoff spots and a trip to Tempe, Arizona!.
