Jacks Hockey climbs to 6th in the West Region ACHA rankings.

Hot off two shutout wins in Great Falls last weekend the DCB Lumberjacks hockey team has climbed to number 6 in the ACHA West Region Rankings for Division II hockey.   The Jacks were ranked 11th in last week's poll before sweeping the University of Providence 2-0 and 1-0 last weekend.

Goaltender Jay Pringle (Boissevain, MB) has played all but one period this year for the Jacks and has been stellar!  He has the two shutouts and sports a .930 save percentage with a 2.71 GAA.  

Another Manitoba product, Kyle Peters (Killarney) is the top point getter for the Jacks with 8 points on 3 goals and 5 assists.  

The Jacks are in Utah to play in the Beehive Showcase Tournament starting today.  

Today they take on Arizona State University Sun Devils (4-7) at 5:15pm (CST) at the Peaks Ice Arena in Provo, Utah.
