The DCB Hockey team took to the road for the first time, hoping to even the home and home series vs the University of Mary but it wasn't to be as the Marauders handed the Jacks a 6-1 lopsided loss.
The Marauders opened the scoring on the power play at 11:16 of the first period and would go on to five more unanswered goals in the first 40 minutes. The Jacks finally hit the scoresheet with just 1:54 left to play as Wade Thompson (Killarney, MB) picked up his first goal of the season. Killarney's Kyle Peters added the assist for his 7th point of the season.
The Jacks will travel to Great Falls, Montana for a weekend set against the University of Providence. Friday's game is at 7:30 pm and Saturday's goes at 2:00pm local time.
