DCB (1-2) lost in overtime to NDSU ( 9-3-1) 2-1 Friday night at the Lumerdome. 

The Jacks opened the scoring in the second frame on a goal by Tyrell Pompu (Carrot River, SK).  Austyn Lorenz ( Bottineau, ND) and Blake Carpenter (Slave Lake, Alberta) added helpers.  The lead did not last long as just four minutes later the Bison's Riley Fisher (Fargo, ND) netted the equalizer.  

There would be no more scoring until Derek Rasmussen scored his 11th goal of the season 4:32 into overtime sending the home town fans away dissappointed.  

Jay Pringle (Boissevain, Manitoba) has went the distance so far in nets for the Jacks played well again stopping 37 of 39 shots.  Fargo's Jordan Elliot stopped 28 of 29 shots for the Bisons.

The jacks will try to get even Saturday afternoon as they take on the Bisons again at the Lumberdome.  Game time is 1:00pm.
