Dakota College at Bottineau

Karl began his career in 2021 at Dakota College. Karl comes to DCB after spending the past five seasons as Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at Valley City State University where he was involved in every aspect of the program. Before his time at VCSU, Karl spent three seasons as the Graduate Assistant Men's Basketball Coach at the University of Mary, where he completed his Master's Degree in Sports & Physical Education Administration. Karl is a 2013 graduate of Valley City State University and 2008 graduate of Valley City High School.

Karl spends his spring and summer coaching on the AAU Basketball circuit with ECI Basketball, fostering relationships with some of the top youth basketball players across the state of North Dakota.
