A few days ago DCB sophomores Victoria Obergfell and Dwaine Simmons were named MonDak All Conference players. They have followed that up by being named to the NJCAA Division II All Region team for Region XIII.
Obergfell was the lone Ladyjack named to the team joining United Tribes Kierra Johnson (MVP) and Tariq Brownotter, Bay College's Jordan Kraemer and Paige Welch and Gogebic's Bailey Froberg.
Simmons was the only DCB player selected. He joins Dakota County Tech's Jeremiah Coddon (MVP) and Cody Sticha, United Tribes' Rob McClain JR. and Montel Carlow, Bay College's Alfonzo Fields and Gogebic's Mitchell Borseth.
Obergfell was a MonDak All Conference and All Region winner in 2016-17 before sitting out the 2017-18 season after just five games after suffering a season-ending injury.
This was Simmons' first All-Conference and All-Region award.
